A refreshing and accessible version

A non-alcoholic Cuba Libre should retain the same sweet, tangy, and slightly woody flavors as the original.

The alcohol-free Cuba Libre is a great alternative for those who want to enjoy this iconic cocktail without its alcoholic effects. As long as the balance between the sweetness of the cola, the acidity of the lemon, and the depth of the rum is maintained, the spirit of the Cuba Libre remains intact.

So, classic or alcohol-free version, what do you choose?

A historic and revolutionary cocktail

Cuba Libre is more than just a rum and cola mix; it's a historical symbol. Born in the late 19th century, it is closely linked to Cuba's war of independence against Spain. Legend has it that in In 1900, after the victory of Cuban and American forces, a U.S. Army officer reportedly ordered a mixture of Cuban rum, American cola, and lime in a Havana bar.

Raising his glass, he reportedly shouted "¡Por Cuba libre!" (For free Cuba!), the slogan of the Cuban insurgents, and thus, the cocktail was born.
